ROOM became a drawing laboratory, where process rather than completion was the key. The project aimed to encourage the artists to be as inventive and inquisitive as possible, animating the space while questioning the status and definition of drawing as part of current practice.
The legacy from the residencies was a publication/catalogue 'A Room to Draw' with texts by Sandie Macrae and photographs by Steve Ryan.
